For this biodegradable production upgrade, CHAOXIN provides integrated film blowing and inline gravure printing solutions that combine film extrusion and printing in one production process. The two configurations can be selected according to the customer’s material, film width, printing requirements and production setup, helping reduce secondary processing, simplify the production flow and support stable biodegradable film and bag production.

How an Armenian packaging producer switched to biodegradable film — and came back to order twice more.
AT A GLANCE

Customer

Plastic packaging producer — food packaging bags, shopping bags, supermarket bags

Market

Armenia

Challenge

Pivot to biodegradable products with a complete, ready-to-run package

Solution

Biodegradable film extrusion + inline printing + pelletizing, later extended with bag making

Outcome

Three orders, five machines, one complete production line

01 CUSTOMER BACKGROUND

Our Armenia customer mainly produces plastic products such as food packaging bags, shopping bags and supermarket bags. As local environmental requirements tightened and end-market demand for biodegradable products rose, the customer decided to pivot toward biodegradable solutions — and needed a complete production package that could be implemented on the ground and generate stable profits.

Before working with us, the customer's production line was built around Taiwanese machines purchased earlier, which had no biodegradable film capability and no inline printing.

02 NEEDS & PAIN POINTS

— Wanted to produce biodegradable products, but lacked the equipment support.

— Needed printing capability, hoping for a one-stop solution to avoid secondary processing.

— High production offcuts — hoping to recycle and reuse them to control raw material costs.

— Most concerned about the stability of new equipment, afraid the transformation investment would go to waste.

03 OUR SOLUTION

We provided the customer with a combined solution of biodegradable film extrusion, inline printing and granulating — three machines that work as one line.

EQUIPMENT

ROLE IN THE LINE

Biodegradable film blowing machine

Stably produces biodegradable films such as PBAT, PLA and starch-based materials.

Inline printing machine

One-step printing with accurate colour registration and clear patterns.

Pelletizer

Inline offcut recycling and pelletizing for direct reuse, significantly reducing material cost.

04 CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

All three machines have been running very stably since commissioning:

— The biodegradable film has uniform gram weight and consistent quality.

— The inline printing delivers rich, saturated colours and stable registration — accepted by the customer on the first inspection.

— The pelletizer offers high recycling efficiency with near-zero material waste, and overall costs have dropped noticeably.

05 GOING THE EXTRA MILE

When our client asked us to send an engineer over, we were fully prepared. Unfortunately, the Iran/US conflict broke out on the very day of his departure, and all flights were cancelled. Tickets were voided, borders were tightening, and no one knew when travel would be possible again. To be honest, at that moment, cancelling or postponing would have been perfectly understandable — the situation was out of anyone's control.

But we didn't want to let the customer down. The customer had invested in the equipment and was counting on our support. Delaying meant lost production time and mounting pressure on their end. So we made a decision: we were going anyway.

The very next day, our engineer found an alternate route and flew out to reach the customer. Getting there was far from smooth — rerouted flights, long waits, uncertainty at every step — but he made it. When he arrived, the customer was relieved beyond words. The installation went ahead as planned, and he got the equipment running without further delay.

And we didn't stop at just showing up. While on site, our engineer went beyond the standard installation and commissioning. He carefully studied the customer's operation and actively looked for ways to help them save costs:

— Optimised process parameters to reduce material waste and lower per-bag production cost.

— Recommended adjustments to the production workflow to improve efficiency without extra investment.

— Shared practical maintenance tips to extend equipment life and cut future downtime.

Every suggestion was practical, actionable and directly beneficial to the customer's bottom line. The customer was so satisfied that he asked for the same engineer again after placing the second order, and gave high praise to the equipment quality, delivery schedule and after-sales response.

“We do not blame you and understand things can work slowly. Please be sure we will buy this machine 100%.”

The customer, during the travel delay

06 REPEAT ORDERS & ADD-ONS

From three machines on the first order to two more add-ons, the customer voted with real money — the strongest proof of trust there is.

Round 01

The core line

Biodegradable film blowing machine, inline printing machine and pelletizer.

Round 02

Downstream completed

A bag-making machine added to close the process and form a full production line.

Round 03

Capacity expansion

An identical film-blowing machine ordered again to expand output.

07 CLOSING

One machine working well might be luck — buying an identical one again is the truest recognition of quality and service.
